TARA's Policy and Planning domain builds knowledge and advocates for Climate Change Resilience & Biodiversity Conservation, Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy, and Inclusive Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Security. TARA has structured its work in the following thrust areas in response to the emerging triple planetary crises of climate, resources, livelihoods:

• Climate Change Resilience: To provide technical support on climate change adaptation in regenerating agriculture and water conservation sectors and provide SDG- CC interlinking support to State and National Governments
• Sustainable Consumption and Production: To bring Evidence based policy change towards reduction in virgin resources using principles of resource efficiency and circularity.
• Inclusive development: To shape Policy shifts towards decentralised green & inclusive economies through partnership building, dialogues, and supporting MSMEs
