Recognising that informed minds drive movements for change. At TARA, we offer customised packages as per the need of the receipt group who involve a diverse range of stakeholder ranging from students to corporates, entry level govt. officials to seasoned administrators, social development practitioners to thematic experts looking for upskilling opportunities. All our capacity building initiatives aim to equip the ignited minds with the required knowledge to create a positive impact for our ‘ultimate client’ i.e. people and planet.
Our focus is to create long lasting change and establish a robust ecosystem by involving multiple partners and creating synergies wherever possible. These programmes consist of Rural Immersion Programmes, Watershed Planning & Management, Trainings for Corporates on Social Development Initiatives, Adaptation of Climate Resilient Practices – Semi Arid Regions and programmes on guiding development organisation running and implementing livelihood linkages projects.
This unique initiative has been designed with an aim to sensitize development professionals, students and CSR professionals to the interconnectedness of various actors involved in social development. At Development Alternatives Group, these immersion programmes are customized to make students or these professionals more fitted to explain the role they need to take up to drive the desired change.
Our Rural immersions are interventions through which professionals and students from different cultural backgrounds learn directly from encounters with marginalised communities and reflecting on the experience. Such interactions not only bring participants closer to the ground realities and constraints, but also provide an understanding of the current scenario in social development and their linkages with public sector institutions.
Indian Micro Enterprises Development Foundation (IMEDF)MEDF is building a Collaboratory on entrepreneurship programmes with partners.
